Publications

The Mongolia Society is dedicated to promoting the study of Mongolia, its history, language and culture, and its publications are a vital part of this mission.

The Society publishes four types of publications, each addressing a different need:

Mongolian Studies, Journal of The Mongolia Society is the Society's flagship publication. It is a peer-reviewed academic journal that is published annually and is a membership benefit;

Mongol Survey is the Society's newsletter. Published once or twice a year, the Survey features news about the Society and its activities as well as short articles about Mongolia and the Mongolian people. It is published in digital form and is a membership benefit;

Occasional Papers are scholarly monographs and translations of important historical works and they are a library benefit; and

Special Papers are republications of important works in Mongolian Classical or Vertical Script.
